DIESEL GENERATING SET (Portable 6KW, 220V AC, 50 C/S Manual Start)
	The  Genset in the 2 - 75 KVA range have the following features.

Cooling Systems :-

1. Air Cooled :- Air cooled are of two types.

   	Fan Type :- The fan is mounted on the flywheel side. Air circulates through cowling towards the cylinder and cylinder head.
   	Blower Type :- A blower mounted towards the gear cover is driven by V-belt and powered by the CAM Gear for forced cooling of the cylinder block and head.

2. Water Cooled Radiator Type

Loads

1. Resistive : - For simple lighting and power loads.
2. Inductive :-  For motors of higher starting torques.
3. Direct AC Welding :- For welding without welding transformer.

Starting Systems

1. Manual Start :- Handle is used to crank the engine.
2. Electric Start :- 12 Volt Battery operated starting system.
3. AMF :-             Auto Mains Failure. The Genset starts within 
   7 - 10 seconds on the mains failure and Genset stops 
   automatically within 7 seconds of the resumption of main power.

Mounting System

Mountings are Sturdy channelled base plates with any of 
the below

• Anti-vibration padding
• Trolley wheels
• Trailer mountings

Control Panel Cubicles

• Fabricated from sheet steel
• Louvers provided for cooling
• Fitted with Voltmeter, Ammeter
• Changeover Switches, Selector switches, HRC switches
