DETAILS OF CONSTRUCTION.

DELIVERY CASING The well designed volute of split casing is made of high tensile close grained cast iron, having smooth passage and ample strength to with-stand maximum working pressure.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

1. Can suck water from as low as 30 ft.depth.
2. Minimum running cost of diesel or spare.
3. No bush bearing Both the bearings are antifriction ball bearing.
    No wear of bush, ideally suited for sundry water with grease 
    sealing for gland.
4. Easy for maintenance and servicing perfect alignment is maintained 
    again when reassembled

BAWA Centrifugal Pumps are designed for continuous, trouble free and efficient working performance  of these pumps, conform to B.I.S.Standard IS:6595-1980.They are specially suitable for irrigations.
Each and every step in the construction of pump is carefully supervised and strictly inspected to ensure
high grade of workmanship and quality of material.

CASING : The Casing is of closed grained Cast Iron sufficiently strong to withstand the  pressure and back thrust of water and scientifically designed to produce smooth flow with gradual changes in velocity ensuring optimum efficiency of the pump.

IMPELLER: The Impellers are of closed grained cast iron. They are of single suction,enclosed type and accurately balanced. All Water passages are hand finished.

SHAFT: It is made of special shaft steel, accurately finished to exact dimensions and is of ample size to transmit maximum power without vibration.

BEARINGS: The ball bearing is single row deep groove type fitted in the sturdy bearing housing having ample strength to take radial and thrust load, imposed by the pump. The bearing is initially greased sufficient for 100 hours operation.

STUFFING BOX: The Stuffing Box had sufficient  depth to prevent air leakage ensuring high suction lift. The gland packing and the lantern ring in between them keeps the shaft cool and prevents any leakage of air.

BASE PLATE: The Cast Iron base-plates are accurately machined on the top.They are provided with four lugs with drilled holes.

ROTATION: Pumps having both clockwise or anticlockwise direction of rotations are available. This is indicated by means of an arrow on casing of the pump.
